Work Scheduling with Microsoft Project

The latest version of PowerMax Scheduler enables work orders to be extracted from the Maximo database, assembled in batches, sorted, and then uploaded directly into Microsoft Project thus saving time normally spent re-entering work order details into the MS Project application.   Once in MS Project the Work Order references are subject to the standard MS Project facilities.  Additionally Work Order Start Date, Duration and % Complete data can then be fed back to the Scheduler with the possibility of Start Date information being uploaded back into Maximo.

The Microsoft Project link is particularly useful for organising work for a major breakdown or overhaul but is equally useful when planning a short weekend outage where multiple activities may be involved.
